Ahimsa is still coming; but in the meantime...

JP Sears is a satirist and sincere coach of sorts whose candid videos can sometimes enlighten us – as can all things if we are open to inspiration.  One video of his has me thinking of concepts I’ve studied, but in a way that spun the science in my creative mind:  https://youtu.be/0Om6CWos6cg

So, what are you carrying around – from inside out – that you could release?

Known, repressed, suppressed – it can be expressed by journaling, meditation, and becoming more aware of those times you stifle the feelings that can be overwhelming, scary, or confusing.  When we hold in our breath, part of the stress response, our body holds in other things.  When we clench or grind our teeth, we lock in like a fortress those things which await our attention.  Only when we begin to recognize those and other symptoms of tension – tension which causes retention of heaviness, grief, and physical weight too – are we enabled to exhale fully, release freely, and embrace with honesty the unburdened self we strive to become.

Can you honor your feelings?

Are you ready to practice courage and curiosity, cease criticism, and step into your true capacity?

What can you do today to begin allowing the feelings and discomfort, to accept yourself with all your scars, and appreciate the potential you have once the emotional edifice is out of your way?

You can do this.  You are worthy of this work.  The world needs all you have to offer, because it can only come from the one and only special and precious person you are beyond the barricades of barred-up pain and fear.
